Gallery APART, Berlingen, Switzerland
In Spring 2016 Marcella Lassen moved into a new studio in Berlingen, Switzerland, simultaneously opening her new Gallery Apart.

In the Spring of 2016, Marcella Lassen established a new studio in the Swiss town of Berlingen on the shore of Lake Constance. The studio incorporated a front-of-house gallery facing the lakeshore. The desire to show other creative work beyond her monumental painting was the motivating factor toward establishing Gallery Apart. Object art, miniature painting, art furniture and glass beaded objects are just some of the genres of work that were presented at Gallery Apart.
Gallery APART—with the word “ART” in the name—was conceived with the idea of it being a space where individuals could spend time discovering unusual pieces to acquire as gifts or as collectibles for themselves. The inviting atmosphere and the personal interaction with the artist herself on the premises created a special environment for discovering exceptional art.
Marcella Lassen focused on the management of Gallery Apart from 2016 to 2024, so that her personal exhibition activity in cooperation with other professional galleries during this period was paused. Following the pandemic and the ensuing Ukraine War, the premature closing of the gallery became unpreventable. Following her subsequent move to Munich and the establishment of a new studio there, she has once again resumed her exhibition activity.
Gallery Apart, however, continues to exist online and offers the art connoisseur the digital opportunity to discover and acquire exceptional creative pieces.
