Legendary explores the icons of our time—people, objects, and symbols that we admire, celebrate, or elevate to iconic status. In her latest works, Marcella Lassen combines figurative realism with collage-like compositions and her distinctive color palette. Oscillating between reality and staging, the paintings feel both familiar and unexpected, inviting viewers to look closer and question what makes something—or someone—truly legendary.
